Intesa Sanpaolo joins forces with the EU Mobicap project for the European ICT Challenge

Intesa Sanpaolo in partnership with Mobicap and powered by Skipso is pleased to announce the 2012 edition of the European ICT Challenge, a unique fund raising and business development opportunity for start-ups active in the fields of ICT, Online Services, Mobile, Mobility, Electronics and Automation. The challenge is supported by the European Commission through its Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP).

Start-ups selected via the European ICT Challenge will go through the Start-Up Initiative acceleration platform, which entails a training and selection process made available at no charge by key industry players and qualified coaches. The most promising teams will have a chance to pitch their project to a wide audience of financial and corporate investors, significantly improving their fund raising and business development reach.
The first opportunity to pitch will be in Milan on June13th (Start-Up Initiative ICT & Electronics) and June 14th (Mobicap Start-Up Initiative for Mobile & Mobility), followed by an International Roadshow bringing the very best finalists to UK, Germany, France and the US to reach more investor audiences and maximize their chances of success.

The Intesa Sanpaolo Start-Up initiative, launched in 2009, has developed a strong track record: 28 international editions in 5 countries, matching over 160 start-ups and growing companies with over 2.600 investors and corporations.

Deadline for submissions is on Monday, April 30th 2012. Applicants are invited to submit their ideas and proposals through the European ICT Challenge website.

If you are interested to participate as observer at the Milan events on June 13th and 14th, please RSVP at startup@intesasanpaolo.com.
