During the first big European event organized by Singularity University with the support of Intesa Sanpaolo in Milan the Axelera association of Italian Singularity University Alumni announced the winner of the 30,000 Usd grant. The grant went to Caterina Falleni, a young Italian researcher who developed the project Freeijis a passive refrigerating technology that do not require energy to keep food at the right cold temperature. The project is based both on phisical principles and specific design. Thanks to the grant Caterina will be at the Graduate studies program 2012 in Silicon Valley next Summer. A special mention went also to Alessandro Tocchio for its' project of a new biotech technology.
