Call for Fashion Technology startups - Application deadline on 22nd July 2018
Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center and Fashion Technology Accelerator, in partnership with Ellen MacArthur Foundation, TechSilu, BHeroes and Cariplo Factory, are seeking Fashion Technology startups currently looking for Seed or Series A funding (€ 100K – 1.5M) for the Fashion Tech 2018 edition of the international acceleration platform StartUp Initiative.
The StartUp Initiative acceleration program created by Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center enables the selected startups to get access to an efficient training process led by key industry players and qualified coaches. The most promising teams will have a chance to pitch their project to a wide audience of financial and corporate investors, significantly improving their fund raising and business development opportunities.
The program is free of charge and the call is focused on the following sectors:
- Retail (M-Commerce, Big Data, In-Store Analytics, Live Optimization, Data Management…)
- Digital Supply Chain (Virtual Prototyping, Inventory Management, Logistics, Demand Forecasting, Production Tracking…)
- Business Model Innovations (Marketplaces, Subscription-based businesses, Pay-per-use Solutions, Out-of-the-box Solutions…)
- Material Innovation (Recycled textiles, Upcycling, Closed-loop Product Design…)
Startups actively implementing Circular Economy principles in fashion (Business models that keep clothes in use, Materials that are renewable and safe, Solutions that turn used clothes into new clothes) will be favored by the commission – this is a plus, not an obligatory requirement for the call.

You can apply by submitting a business plan or executive summary of your project via our online application form, no later than Sunday July 22, 2018. Applications will be reviewed and screened according to 5 main criteria:
- Team and advisors;
- Addressable market;
- Product and development stage;
- Barriers to entry and traction;
- Economics.
Investment opportunities:
- Exposure to seasoned industry experts and an audience of VCs, angels, corporates and top tech heads
- Possibility for a 1:1 meeting with Tech Silu to scout fundraising opportunities on the Chinese market
- Possibility to participate in the networking event of the upcoming edition of the BHeroes acceleration program and TV show
