BioInItaly 2017: Application deadlines in January

Are you a startup active in biotech or healthcare? If so, we are happy to announce the new batch of calls for the Intesa Sanpaolo StartUp Initiative, our international acceleration platform which selects promising high-tech startups, coaches them and connects them with financial and corporate investors.

Startups selected for our programs are eligible for several thousand Euros’ worth of investor readiness training and feedback, made available at no charge by qualified coaches and industry experts. The most promising startups will access Italian and international Investor Arenas to pitch in front of financial investors and industrial partners.

We are now gearing up for a new cycle, and would be happy to have you on board! Below you can find a recap and the downloadable document for each call.

• Red, Green & White Biotechnologies (final Arena Meeting Mar 29, 2017) 

• 

  • Target: Companies, start-ups and projects focusing on Red Biotech (e.g. life sciences, diagnostics, drug discovery, drug delivery, therapy and treatment) and Green & White Biotech (e.g. biotech for environment and agriculture, biomaterials and biofuels, marine biotech).
  • Application Deadline: Jan 31
  • How to apply: Fill out the application form and send it to bioinitaly.assobiotec@federchimica.it. Submission guidelines and further information available on the Assobiotec website.

• Healthcare & Medical Devices (final Arena Meeting Mar 30, 2017)

  

  • Target: Non-biotech-based startups developing technologies and solutions for the treatment and prevention of diseases and illnesses (e.g. diagnosis, surgery, prosthetics, e-health, rehabilitation, fitness, ...)
  • Application Deadline: Jan 31 
  • How to apply: Submit a business plan or executive summary of your project via our online application form.
